Club Rules 

The safety of our members and their guests is our number one priority.  Members and guests must follow the directions of the staff at all times.  Pool rules are subject to revision by the Springwood Swim Club Board of Governors at any time.  

Main Pool

  • SWIMMING IS ONLY PERMITTED WHEN A LIFEGUARD IS ON DUTY.
  • Swimmers under 48” may require supervision in the water.
  • All ladders and stairs must be kept clear at all times.
  • NO diving allowed from the deck.  Feet first jumping is permitted where indicated
  • There is no running within the pool area
  • No rough play in the pool, grabbing, dunking, splashing, etc.
  • Rafts, tubes, balls, toys and diving objects are not allowed.
  • Pool noodles may be used for lounging.
  • Kickboards and flippers permitted in lap lane only.
  • Adult swim will be called at the manager on duty’s discretion..
  • Children not toilet trained must were swim diapers covered with rubber pants.
  • CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 15 ARE REQUIRED TO PASS A SWIM TEST BEFORE ENTERING THE DEEP WATER AREAS. Swim testing is available upon request.  Swimmers who do not complete the test successfully will be issued a wristband to be worn at all times when on the property. This band excludes the swimmer from deep water areas and requires an adult, age 16 or over, to provide supervision while swimming.
  • Children in floaties are not permitted in the deep water or diving areas.  If wearing floaties when using the slide, an adult must be present.
  • ADDITIONAL RULES ARE POSTED AT THE SLIDE, DIVING WELL AND NEAR THE OFFICE.

Wading Pool

  • Wading pool is reserved for children 8 years old and under.  Children with the wading pool gated are MUST be accompanied by an adult.
  • Children not toilet trained must were swim diapers covered with rubber pants.
  • No jumping into the wading pool.
  • Toys are permitted in the wading pool at the manager on duty’s discretion.

Building and Grounds

  • ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS is permitted within the gated pool area. Coolers and bags may be subject to inspection to ensure the safety of all of our members and their guests.
  • Only swimsuits/proper swim attire may be worn in the pools.
  • Small coolers are permitted.  Food and beverages are not allowed in the pools and must be kept 4’ back from the edge of the pool.
  • Garbage cans must be utilized for trash.  Clean up of your area is required.
  • No animals or pets are allowed on club property.
  • Bikes, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, etc. are prohibited on club property.
  • For the comfort of all of our families Springwood Swim Club is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not permitted near the entrance to the pool area.
  • Disorderly conduct and profane language is prohibited.  Violators may be asked to leave the premises.
